Hi! I've only had the chance to look at your website a little bit but I love it!!! It's wonderful and evident that you truly love your art. I appreciate all the color photos to look at and it makes it easy to make a list of the things that we want to look at and buy. I am so thrilled that you spent the time to make your site such a great place to visit. Keep up the good work. I'll be seeing you soon.

For many years, Low Country artist Marina Cantlon has been portraying the Gullah people of South Carolina and Georgia and their cultural heritage through her dolls, cards, and paintings. All of her characters are based on actual personas, and each has its own unique personality. Her Field Hand painting was inspired by a faded photograph from the 1920s depicting the daily labor in a large cotton field. For three decades, The Posy Collection has been interpreting our major historical sites, prominent natural wonders, and selected graphic arts in cross stitch. This kit is a combination of their efforts aimed at "preserving our story in stitches."
