 Summertime reminds me of Patriotic - red, white, and blue, and Nautical/Beach designs. So usually in May - I get in the mood and pick a few designs to add to our patriotic model selection. I picked this design because of the motifs and buttons, however I was not keen on the fabric color that the designer chose - so I picked a light blue for the background, then changed the lettering to a Sampler Thread - Blue Jay, and changed the sparkers to match the theme using Kreinik #4 - 044 for the blue, and 207 for the red - I alternated them. Finally I framed in a primitive Navy Blue frame. This is one of those designs that you can step out of the box and personalize for your own
